I wrote “Saving Gigy” as a tribute to the profound bond between humans and animals. Growing up in Europe, I was surrounded by diverse cultures and landscapes that instilled in me a deep appreciation for the beauty of life. I knew how important it was to share this story with the world, and I had to overcome the fear of how it would be received.

How did Mariel Hemingway’s involvement in designing the book cover come about, and what impact do you feel it has on readers?

Mariel Hemingway did write a foreword for Saving Gigy. Her passion for animal welfare aligned perfectly with the story’s themes. The cover is designed from my vision that suites to the story very well. The cover design has had a significant impact on readers, as it captures the essence of the narrative and invites readers to embark on the emotional journey within.
