EDITOR, READER’S HOUSE

How do you approach the process of researching and writing about lesser-known figures from the Golden Age of Hollywood, and what challenges do you face in uncovering their stories?

Researching and writing about lesser-known figures from the Golden Age of Hollywood presents unique challenges. Unfortunately, time is often against me, as many of the individuals I write about passed away long before I was born, along with many of their close associates and family members. This makes it difficult to gather firsthand accounts and insights. However, I am always thrilled when I can locate individuals who are still around and willing to share their memories and experiences. Their contributions are invaluable, enriching the biographical sketches I create and helping to bring these fascinating women’s stories to life.
