A Journey Into Eternal Love

A lifelong mystic shares spiritual insights on love, revealing how soul mate connections transcend lifetimes, guiding readers to recognize true relationships beyond modern dating struggles and emotional impermanence.

“I love the non-dualist spiritual masters of India, such as Nisargadatta Maharaj and Sri Ramana Maharshi. My books are the product of many years of thinking and observing.”

June Marshall Kingsley has been a mystic since the age of four in Brazil. Visions and insights appeared to her even younger than that but She was not able to articulate them. This devotion to the unseen realm of the spirit followed her through life. In her 30’s She backpacked from the tip of India to the Himalayas, to encounter spiritual masters and to get confirmation from them by osmosis. She expanded her vision of the unseen substratum of the Universe and began teaching classes on spiritual subjects about 30 years ago.

She has also been fascinated by the human dating and mating jungle and so wrote two books, The Dirty Seven, Ladies Beware!, and The Dirty Seven Sisters, Men Beware! They were 20 years in the making and are about the seven types of men and women in the dating marketplace that seek relationships but cannot sustain them. In other words, they are dead ends and are not relationship or marriage material no matter how hard you try to fix them.

But her newest book, Are You My Soul Mate?, is not about impossible-to-live-with behavior. It is about eternal Soul connections in deep relationships of the heart based on many lives together.

A profoundly insightful and fearless voice, the author illuminates love’s deepest truths with wisdom, clarity, and a rare lifelong spiritual perspective.

What is your book about?

A guide to discover if your love relationships are based on eternal, soul connections from past lives.

Why did you write the book?

The huge amount of failed relationships not based on Soul has come to a crisis. For example, 50% of US marriages end after 2 years. Also, people are frustrated by the whirlwind of dating apps and the impermanence or shallowness of their relationships. They want to find a true connection.

What do you hope your readers will gain from reading your book?

Insight into whether their partner, future partner, or anyone in their life, including a beloved pet, is their Soul Mate. Insights on how to attract their Soul Mate. Finding the meaning of their life through Soul Mate connections. Learning about who they really are: The eternal aspect of them that is not tied to a transitory body.

Which writers — working today do you admire most?

Donna Tarte channels the qualities of Soul, though does not approach the subject explicitly. She does portray Soul connections but does not explain why they are that way. That is because she write poetically and only suggests the presence of Soul. I am more direct about it in my book, Are You My Soul Mate?

Are there any classic novels that you only recently read for the first time?

I continue to read and re-read all of Dickens, Austen, the Brontes, and all the great Victorian novelists. George Eliot is also a favorite. I seek out glimmers of spiritual understanding in all of them, underneath their portrayal of society.

You’re organizing a party. Which two authors, dead or alive, do you invite?

I love Allan Watts and began reading him when I was 13 years old. The Way of Zen was my first foray into the Eastern cosmology. Vladimir Nabokov, whose brilliant talent shines with Soul, even though he never mentions Soul in any of his books and might find my experience of spirituality difficult to accept.

Who are your favorite writers?

Vladimir Nabokov’s genius continues to engage me. He creates worlds within worlds, keenly observed and ironic. It is an example of the Soul in operation without ever mentioning the spiritual underpinnings.

What do you read when you’re working on a book? And what kind of reading do you avoid while writing?

I love the non-dualist spiritual masters of India, such as Nisargadatta Maharaj and Sri Ramana Maharshi. My books are the product of many years of thinking and observing. My last two books were 20 years in the making. And this book took an entire lifetime.

What genres do you especially enjoy reading?

I enjoy masterfully-written fiction and philosophical writing and have a MA in English Literature because of this love.

What books and authors have impacted your writing career?

Dr. Brian Weiss’s book Many Lives, Many Masters confirmed my lifelong knowledge about Past Lives.

Have you ever changed your opinion of a book based on information about the author, or anything else?

I see good authors as channels of the Soul. Osho’s writings are highly spiritual and ring true to me, but his later life showed disturbing behavior that contradicted his writings. I do not discount his words or inspiration even though he could not live up to them as a human.

If you could meet any writer, dead or alive, who would it be? And what would you want to know?

I would just listen to the musings of Vladimir Nabokov and reflect on them. But I wouldn’t want to know anything, just listen, as I would listen to a symphony.

What books do you find yourself returning to again and again?

All of Allan Watts’ books continue to inspire me. They were written from the Soul, which keeps them fresh and new each time I read them. I began my spiritual quest with them at 13 and have continued with them for 62 years.
